Barrow Chess Club is a welcoming community for players of all ages and abilities in Barrow-in-Furness and the wider Furness area. Whether you’re brand new to the game or an experienced competitor, our club provides a friendly environment to learn, play, and improve your skills. We host regular club nights, casual games, coaching sessions, and competitions, with opportunities to take part in local leagues and tournaments. More than just a game, chess at Barrow Chess Club is about connecting people, building confidence, and enjoying the challenge together.
